Questions

Can I open a PSD without Photoshop?
Yes. Picstea opens 8-bit RGB and greyscale PSD files in the browser, with their layers, groups, masks, blend modes, editable text, adjustment layers, shape layers, smart objects and common layer styles.
Is my PSD uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read inside your browser and never leaves your device.
Can I save as PSD again?
Yes. File → Export As… → PSD writes a layered PSD with groups, masks, vector masks, clipping masks, adjustment layers, opacity and blend modes.
What doesn't come across?
Some Photoshop features have no Picstea equivalent yet: adjustments such as Selective Color or Color Lookup, satin and pattern styles, warped text and smart filters keep their look as pixels or are left out. Text may need a font check. Picstea lists what changed when the file opens.
